Weather
The weather in May is warm, with a little chance of rain. Daytime temperatures are usually about 25 to 28 C.
Remember to bring a hat and sunscreen. You may need a light jacket for the evenings, which are still cool at this time of year.
Rate of Exchange
The rate of exchange varies between $ = 3.1 to 3.3 NIS; Euro = 3.5 to 4.0 NIS; British Pound = 4.1 to 4.5 NIS.
There are ATM’s at the airport, and also one on Technion campus. There are, of course, ATM’s in the various shopping areas of Haifa.
