Weather
The weather in June is warm. Daytime temperatures are usually above 25 C, while the evenings are relatively cool.
Remember to bring a light outer garment for the evenings, and also sunscreen and hats.

Rate of Exchange
The rate of exchange varies between $ = 3.7 to 4.0 NIS; Euro = 4.8 to 5.0 NIS; British Pound = 5.5 to 6.3 NIS.
There are ATM’s at the airport, and also one on Technion campus. There are, of course, ATM’s in the various shopping areas of Haifa.
Directions to Technion
There is a train service from the airport to Haifa. Sunday through Thursday, between 05:00 and 23:00 the trains run about every half hour, between 23:00 and 5:00 every hour. Fridays they run only in the morning, and Saturdays only in the late evening.
Check the train schedule at the Israel Railways Web Site. The most convenient station for Technion is “Hof HaCarmel”, from where you can take a bus (NO. 11) or a taxi.
