Weather

The weather in October is usually dry and fairly warm, but it can be quite cool (about 17C daytime and 12C at night) and wet. So please remember to bring warm clothing and a waterproof coat, as well as a hat and sunscreen. 

 

Rate of Exchange

The rate of exchange varies between $ = 3.7 to 4.0 NIS; Euro = 4.2 to 4.8 NIS; British Pound = 5.9 to 6.2 NIS.

There are ATM’s at the airport, and also one on Technion campus. There are, of course, ATM’s in the various shopping areas of Haifa.
