The center is equipped with a Quantum Design PPMS DynaCool system, enabling the following measurements:
- Thermal transport
- Heat capacity
- Electrical transport
- DC resistivity
The Dynacool has a 14T magnet, and a temperature range of 50mK to 400K.

Fees
A customer within the Technion will pay NIS 93 per work hour.
Out of Technion customers will pay NIS 200 per work hour plus VAT.
Customers from abroad will pay 100 USD per work hour plus shipping costs.
Practical Information
The DC resistivity option sample holder can accommodate a sample of size: ~1cm by ~1.5cm. It has 3 four-probe options for connection and needs to be wire-bonded prior to measurement.
The power range for resistivity measurements is 1nW-1mW, 10nA-5mA in current and 1mV-95mV voltage.
The sample holder is electrically conductive, therefore an insulating and thermally conducting layer needs to be placed between the sample and holder.
