In our research group, we investigate the optical and electronic properties of low-dimensional semiconductor systems, such as quantum dots and Nitrogen-Vacancy centers in diamonds.
We then apply this knowledge to quantum information processing applications.
Recently our group won a prestigious ERC Advanced Grant No. 695188 – DG-PESP-CS, for the action of Deterministic Generation of Polarization Entangled Single Photon Cluster States. Consequently, the group is now seeking excellent graduate students and post-doctorate research fellows interested in this forefront field of science and technology for capitalizing on the group’s recent success (Science 534, 434, (2016) ,Haaretz, International Business Times).
